Hi, how do I install expression engine core. I can’t see the install screen, its a blank page http://www.jamiesoon.com/

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[’ in /var/www/vhosts/jamiesoon.com/httpdocs/system/ee/EllisLab/ExpressionEngine/Boot/boot.php on line 68

Maybe try uploading the boot.php file again to ensure nothing happened on first upload to damage the file. Are you running the minimum required version of php on your server? It’ll run on PHP 5.4.0, but 7.x is recommended.

Ok, I just checked and its not the minimum php version. I have requested the hosting company to migrate to the latest server. Thanks.

Ok now I’m getting another error message when I run the server compatibility wizard http://www.jamiesoon.com/wizard/ee_wizard/

©2003— Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system’s timezone settings. You are required to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected ‘Asia/Kuala_Lumpur’ for ‘MYT/8.0/no DST’ instead in /var/www/vhosts/jamiesoon.com/httpdocs/ee_server_wizard/wizard/ee_wizard/views/container.php on line 43 2018 EllisLab, Inc.

I also tried to install expression engine by going to the admin.php file but I get a blank page
