Fluid Field Issue?

I have a strange issue going on where if my custom field is added to a fluid field, fluid field stops setting the input names correctly for fields added to fluid thereafter. It’s hard to explain, I have a video of the issue in action.
Thoughts?

Can you compare the input names in the hidden .fluid-field-templates div with and without your field present in the Fluid field?

The input names are missing the field ID bit in the .fluid-field-templates div when my fieldtype is present.
