New to EE4, can I use Relationship field as means for tagging entries?

I am in limbo on which way to go. I am creating a real estate website and either I categorized home types or use relationship field for tagging entries

Here is an example:
Residential - House - Duplex - Apartment
Commercial - Land - Building - Unit Space
