Pagination not working

My url is domain structure is: domain.com/see-do/type/category/shopping My template is displaying entries by based on the category in segment 4 but my pagination is not showing up. I am getting the title to display, there are more than 1 entries in the channel.

{exp:channel:entries channel="see-do" orderby="date" sort="desc" limit="1" paginate="bottom" dynamic="yes" }
      {title} 
       {paginate}
             Page {current_page} of {total_pages} pages {pagination_links}
          {/paginate}
      {/exp:channel:entries}

When I view the page without the /category/shopping pagination WORKS, but as soon as I add /category/shopping the pagination is not appearing
