I started my personal site back when EE started. I did it all by myself without any coding background. But that was years back and now I forgot everything. I am j just worried that the site might crash oneday and all the articles will be gone forever.

I was wondering is there any reasonable EE web design sites that can do an upgrade And would anyone recommend any new video tutorials/courses that I can learn EE and do the upgrade on my own.

Here is my site: www.exercisebiology.com

Thank you so much for reading, Anoop

I am currently in a very similar boat - built my own EE site with very little coding knowledge.

Currently running v2.1.3 and would love to know if I can upgrade to v4.0 as well.

Any help would be most appreciated.

OR - do we have any EE Pros in the Toronto, Canada area who can help with such a migration?

I’m sure it is Possible, Do want to do it your self? https://docs.expressionengine.com/v2/installation/upgrade_from_1.x.html after that you will upgrade to version 3 https://docs.expressionengine.com/v3/installation/upgrade_from_2.x.html After all it is easy to upgrade to version 4 https://docs.expressionengine.com/latest/installation/upgrade_from_3.x.html

you have to buy the licenses as well. it is better to do it locally and have the backup for everything before you upgrade. upgrading needs skills in reading carefully. otherwise, you can ask for an expert to do it 😊
