Themes path/SSL weirdness in GoDaddy

How Do I?

My client’s site is hosted in GoDaddy (their choice), and I can’t upgrade to the latest version because something weird happens with the themes path.

The themes path in System Settings points to an inexistent public_htmls directory, probably due to the host’s SSL config. When I try to correct it to public_html, it reverts to public_htmls.

Then, when I try to update, I get this error message:

Cannot get contents of path, the path is invalid: /home/[CLIENT]/public_htmls/themes/ee/

How can I correct this? The site is currently on EE 4.2.1.

Thank you!

Ok, sorry, I just found out how to correct this after posting. This was happening because the path was mistyped in config.php.

Now I’m getting a different error while upgrading, but that’s a different topic 😊
