After we officially Open Source, keep an eye on our Blog for the announcement.

Generally excited with mixed feelings underneath. But I will say, IM very most HO, EE is hands down the best “cms”, I’ve tried lots but not all of them. I am extremely excited because some smaller clients are reluctant to get into a “closed model” cms where high quality addons are costly and free addons are often abandoned after a release or two.

The fact that I have so much time invested in “mastering” EE (at least best I can) is all of a sudden the most liberating feeling. And I was just in the midst of learning Joomla… now I don’t have to 😊

I will wait for more info before rambling off questions like will paid and core versions able to auto update into the open source version… I’m sure it will all be fine 😊
