How Do I?

I am new to EE and am having problems with trying to create more than one site via the site manager. The only way that I can do this is to have separate installs of EE, placed in different folders of the the WAMP www folder.

This is not really a problem, but I get the impression that I should not have to.

Under Settings > General Settings there is a toggle “Enable Site Manager?” turn this to on, and you’ll find a new menu item in Developer called “Site Manager” from there you will be able to add sites to your installation.

Additionally you’ll need to follow the docs steps for setting up these new sites in the file system. https://docs.expressionengine.com/latest/msm/domainsetup.html

Thanks for the info ! I will give this a try and see what happens, for the present the only reason that I want multiple sites on the quick is so that I can keep on going through the tutorial ‘Basic News Site’ a number of times and experiment while I get comfortable EE. Just now, adding a fresh install of EE in another folder within WAMP www seems the most straightforward. Everything that I will be doing for some time, is going to be on my localhost.

Thanks again !
