on expression engine 2
I run one template for all the articles, but thinking of running a second template to run group ( 2 categories)
But I am unsure where or how to run the conditional
if Category x then template y else template y

Can you specify the exact URL paths you want, as well as what you’ve tried and what wasn’t working? What you’re asking to do is pretty standard, so knowing what’s not working for you will help someone be able to see what piece is missing.
