Issues with 5.1.3
How Do I?
Recently updated a site from 4 to 5.1.3. and none of the grid or file picker fields are working.
Console shows the error “EE.grid is not a function” or “EE.filepicker is not a function”
Tried a completely clean install of 5.1.3 on a new server and have run into the same error, has anyone else experienced this? I ran the wizard on the new server and passed every check
Sorry for your trouble! Could you check the network tab in your browser’s console and see if anything errored? I’ve see before the JavaScript loader might return a 403 error on servers with mod_security enabled.
Thank you so much! disabled ModSecurity and issue has disappeared.
Glad to hear! If you’d like to re-enable it at some point, I think the specific rule that trips mod_security is the one about long query strings, you should be able to just relax that rule.
