You’re probably getting tired of me by now… sorry. I’m looking at adding a couple of free add-ons that I only have available in Github right now, and they have a direct zip download option. It would be a lot easier to maintain if I can just link to that zip and always give the user access to master.zip instead of me having to downloading it, then re-add it to the store. Maybe a “URL to zip file” field option along with the zip upload option? If it’s a Github repo you could also parse the tags and grab the version from that too so the entry in the store is always up-to-date. Just some ideas.

For those workflows what I’ve been thinking is an API that you can interact with. That way it wouldn’t be limited to GitHub, but would be something you could work into an automated build process. Which could include GitHub via TravisCI, etc.
