Option to display only selected fields/field group

The new approach to field groups and fields is great in most ways, but the display could be improved in situations where you have a lot of fields and a lot of field groups. Would it be possible to have an option to see only the fields already associated with a field group or only the field groups or fields associated with a channel? Scrolling through a massive list to see which ones have a check mark can be a bit dizzying. 😊
