Upgrade from EE2
How Do I?
Hi,
I’m working on a client’s website which is running EE2.5.5. I have the licence key, but no other details for the developer who originally set the site up (in 2012). With the licence key alone can I install the later steppingstone versions I need to be able to bring it up to date, or do I need more information - and if so how can I get the account reset or a new licence key to allow me to do this?

No need, as that license key will be irrelevant after upgrading. Take a look at these tips!

OK, that’s good. I wasn’t sure if I’d need it as part of the interim upgrade steps, but good to know that I don’t!
The guide looks useful too - I’d found a few other similar ones, but this is laid out a bit more helpfully.
