Hi Guys,

I wonder know if EE has a variable or tag of a Mail Notification please ? For example i create an Output Template (with fields), then if i or someone reply to the Entry submitted, the person gets a mail notification.

PS : I know that by implementing a Comment System to that Output Template, i may get a mail notification when a comment is submitted.

Regards.

Hrm- how are they replying to the Entry? Via comments? As you noted, authors can get notifications of comments and anyone, whether they reply or not, can subscribe to a comment. Does that do what you want?

Hi Robin,

I’m sorry for my late reply, i was testing with comment EE system you said, yes it is, just like. The EE comment system 😊

Otherwise, within the Entry template we cannot create an Output Template (with fields), then if i or someone reply to the Entry submitted, the person gets a mail notification ?

Or i must use the way of EE comment system ?

Regards.

There are probably multiple ways to do it, but the default way would be to use the comment module.

How does the comment module not do what you need? If I know that, we can look into your options.
