Debugging front end not working?

Hi, I’m trying to figure out why my site is slow after upgrading (and code changes).
In the past I have found the debugging feature to be very useful but when I’m enabling it in the Debugging & Output section and in index.php it still doesnt show me the benchmark results and all SQL queries at the bottom of website (neither on my local dev site).
Any ideas how to solve this?

I figured it out…
Switched to Cookies only under Website Session type.

Ah- it wasn’t seeing you as logged in! Good catch.
I will saying, make sure you’re on PHP 7+, it makes a difference.
