How do I get rid of the splash screen that appears after a form submission?

How Do I?

I am looking for a way, if possible, to remove the splash screen that pops up after a successful login while on the site. Currently a user logs in and it pops up with a screen for about 2-3 seconds and then takes them to the next screen.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Can you provide a screenshot? It sounds like your system templates are not configured correctly, or some other error is happening.

Tooting my own horn here a bit, but the CSM add-on gives you a bit more control over those templates.

Brian - I don’t have the exact screenshot of the page I am referencing because it redirects too quickly, however I do have the error state screenshot. When you successfully login it give you this same looking template with success verbiage and etc. I’m not even necessarily looking to remove it even, is there just a way I can customize or edit this page so it has the branding of my website?

To further this, ideally it would be nice to be able to edit both of those templates success and error (attached).

All help is appreciated!

Yeah, you can edit those in EE’s Templates settings in the control panel, or use something like CSM for even more control of those templates.

Brian - Would I be correct in assuming that the template you can edit is a generic template located under System Template > User Messages?

Yep, or with CSM you can use any template you want on your file system.
