Setting up Local version of EE

Quick fyi, im quite new to EE and Programming in general so excuse me for any stupid questions, and advise would be grateful.
I’m running MAMP, EE app version 3.5.7. I had local version running prior (so i know the issue isn’t from mamp), but basically I had to re-download (via FTP), and reconfigure my live code to work with local.
Right now I’m just seeing a “This site can’t be reacheddev.groupex-solutions.com refused to connect.”
Not exactly, sure where to start, already tried to work with config.php
Any advise would be helpful. Thanks
Hi,
You have to:
Open config.php and change your path, url.
Login admin control panel and change your path, url.
Review database before import, ex: change old url to the new one.
