Live Preview functionality broken?

Hi there,
Thanks for the amazing work, it’s been a charm working with Expression Engine so far. I ran into a small issue though. We’re currently running version 5.2.6 and the Live Preview functionality seems to be broken. There’s two things that don’t work correctly:
- The Live Preview button shows up randomly
- If the Live Preview button is pressed, the preview doesn’t load the current entry, instead it shows the homepage.

Where Live preview doesn’t load the correct page check a couple of things in the entry template:
- check the correct template is selected in channel settings
- if you entry has a custom status or closed you need to account for that in the templates channel entries tag
