So, I made the mistake of upgrading from 4.xx to the latest (5.xx) and did not update addons nor disable/remove them/
The site started development 2 yrs ago, and now I have been requested to bring it back to life. Unfortunately, I do not have the budget to update the addons, as they are well over a year old. Most were purchased from eeharbor “mega pack” - which is no longer avalable. (The plugins are, but no budget right now)
I’ve went into the DB and disabled a lot of them in the exp_extensions table, however, I believe that there are still fields still lingering. I found the exp_fields table and mucked about there making a few changes, but to no avail.
Is there any way around this error:
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/var/www/vhosts/.com/.com/system/user/addons/playa/helpers/eeharbor_ee5_helper.php’ (include_path=’phar:///var/www/vhosts//.com/system/user/addons/assets/assets.phar:.:/opt/plesk/php/7.0/share/pear’) in /var/www/vhosts/.com/.com/system/user/addons/playa/eeharbor.php on line 40
edit : removed domain name.
I fear that once THIS instance is fixed, I will encounter a few others along the way.
I even edited the config file to disable addons.
Is there any way to bypass this to get the site up and running?
Thanks in advance
