Hi As of last night, EE has started to crash fequently - I have not added any new add-ons, or done anything to the system, but it reports the following:

SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Connection refused

ee/legacy/database/drivers/mysqli/mysqli_connection.php:78

I’m running the latest up-to-date version - any ideas? Thanks

Seems your database might be crashing. Just a guess, but connection refused means the PHP files are not able to connect to your MySQL database. Its either that, or your system admin has put a limit on the amount of connections your DB can handle. You might check that if you didnt update and changed anything and it started to happen out of the blue.
