Close entries from member
How Do I?
I have 2 different member groups.
- Members
- Subscribers
Subscribers can add/post to a channel. Members cannot.
How can I “close” subscribers posts if they down-grade to member status?
It’s a paid subscription, but if they no longer are paying (cancel subscription) I would like to close (or delete) their entries.

There isn’t a native way to do it automatically, but it should be simple to do it manually.
You can search by ‘author’ on the entry edit page. Pull back all of the entries by that person, select them, then choose ‘Bulk Edit’ in the dropdown. Once in the bulk editor, select ‘status’ to edit- set to closed, and save.
It’s also likely a custom add-on could do it automatically when the subscription ends, but that would depend on what add-on is handling subscriptions and it would likely require some coding.
But it would be worth it if you’re having to do it manually very often.
