Boolean Logic with categories in exp:channel:entries

How Do I?

Hi all!

So I have a question about category filtering. I have one category that is required, and then a list of others that are OR

so category = XX && (YY|ZZ)

Is there any way this can be done in {exp:channel:entries} filtering? Something like:

{exp:channel:entries category="XX" category="YY|ZZ"}

Or will this require an add-on?

Thank you!

I like that, actually either syntax. But they won’t currently work. With two identical parameters, it’s just going to take the second one. And it won’t recognize that more complex syntax.

For this one, I’m thinking an extension unless you are dealing with a pretty small number of entries.
