Hi. This is a first for me but when I go to Add-Ons in the CP, I get this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home/sites/……./ee/EllisLab/Addons/rte/ext.rte.php on line 19

Does anyone know how I can fix it?

Thanks

EE 5.3.2

Hrm- it makes no sense to me. My bet would be file corruption.

Can you grab a fresh download and then delete and replace the ext.rte.php file?

If that doesn’t fix it, go back and open up the file and copy out line 19 and paste it here.

var $docs_url = DOC_URL.'add-ons/rte/control_panel/index.html';

That’s the line- and there’s no way that constant shouldn’t be defined- and it would throw a different error. Plus the same code is used all over the place.

In short- it’s odd.

Thanks Robin. I deleted and replaced ext.rte.php but I am afraid the problem persists. I checked and line 19 looks good.
It is odd because everything else in the cp works the way it should.

Well, I’m still confused by the error, but I’ll take it!
