Does anyone know how to upload webp in the file manager?

Does any know a solution/fix on how to enable the uploading of webp in the file manager? Every time I’ve tried, I get an error like “Cannot Upload File

Thumbnail could not be created for the image. Please make sure the thumbnail directory is writable”. Any help is greatly, greatly appreciated! Thank y’all.
