Live Preview for dynamic content

Folks:

I have a single channel called “general” which contains basic info page content. Like the About page and the Contact page.

I have separate templates to pull up the about and contact pages so that the URLs look good.

So how do I specify which template to use as Live Preview for the “General” channel? If I specify the “about” template, you can’t live preview the Contact content (and vice-versa).

Am I stuck with creating individual templates for each page for Live Preview even if they are not actually necessary?
