Logged in as Super Admins but getting System Offline message

After working in EE6 for a couple of months, all of the sudden I have been getting logged out of the control panel constantly, maybe every couple of minutes.
I have changed my CP Session Type to Cookies Only and I have Keep Me Logged In checked on the login screen. This seems to be helping.
However now, even though I’m logged in as Super Admin, I’m getting the System Offline message when I try to visit the site.
I suspect that these issues are related but I’ve been trying to figure it out for days now and I’m at a loss.
I’ve tried in Firefox and Chrome with no difference.
Any help is appreciated.

I would recommend checking a few things.
- Is the system online?
- Is the server time set correctly?

Thanks for replying. When the website is set to online the website loads as it should. But I’m still in development and would like to keep it offline. My understanding is that as Super Admin the site should load for me when signed in, even with Website Online set to off.
Also, the server time is correct, but the logout problem hasn’t been an issue the last couple of days, so at least that’s a plus.
