I have freshly installed ee6.0.1 and found that url path settings page that under Website Index Page, the box is empty. I wrote down index.php because that is where you input it but no matter how many times I save it, its not updating and you can reproduce it.

I tried changing other options such as selecting underscore from hyphen and category titles from category id and save it, and it was updated.

I have report this at github but am new so I don’t know if its accepted or not.

So the bug is the website index page box.

If templates dont work, ee6.0.1 cant work.

Hi Yzs,

Thanks for posting this. We’ll test and confirm we can replicate and patch accordingly.

Thanks for passing this along!

Also, for anyone reading along, we’ll provide additional updates on the github issue

Ok so any quick fix or other way to edit this using cpanel file directory rather than admin.php? Because i need to use live preview for templates and its not working.

The ee wizard invalidates memory limit 1Gb which is the default in latest php version which sometimes most new users dont bother to check.
