Fluid field image problem

How Do I?

Hi! I’m having a problem with the fluid field, just wondering if it’s a bug. I have a file field for images as one of the added custom fields.

When I use more than one of the image fields in a post, it replaces all the images in the post with the latest image I added, even within the editor screen. Anyone else come across this (or managed a fix)?

Can you post your fluid field template code? I am wondering if your tag syntax may be not quite right.

I have exactly the same problem. EE 6.0.2 not add-ons at all.

I’m using this code:

{fluide_over}

{fluide_over:overige_fotos} {content} <div class=”overimg”>{url}</div> {/content} {/fluide_over:overige_fotos}

{/fluide_over}

Can someone help me with this issu?

There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the tag syntax, I think it’s just a bug. I got around it by using a file grid (instead of a regular file field) inside the fluid field, and did what I needed. This was my code in the end(I had an extra column in the file grid for captions):

{fluid_field_name} {fluid_field_name:fileGridName} {content} {content:file} {/content} {/fluid_field_name:fileGridName} {/fluid_field_name}

Are you using the Addon Assets? I’ve reported this issue a half year ago at EE Harbor, but after serveral e-mail conversations it was ending up….”No priority”.

Maybe you could try to embed an external template file and there load the images. Sometimes that will help in this kind of situations.

I’m having same problem – tested fluid text field, works great, but when using a fluid file field adding one new image file replaces all existing files with the new one. Sucks.

I’ve just been informed by a client that this is still happening in EE 6.0.3

Has this been reported as a bug? Three months seems to be a long time for this not to have been fixed.
