Read More - Rich Text Editor Controls

In creating a new channel & fields for that channel, I opted to employ the rich text editor field, and to utilize the full configuration for it. I was SUPER excited to see a “Read More” function when typing out entry content, but upon inserting that, saving, and viewing the post, was disappointed to find that it did absolutely nothing. Expected: an “on-click” type of function to extend the rest of the entry.

Clearly, I’m doing something wrong here. LOL What is this actually supposed to do, and how do I do it? I can’t find anything in the documentation that actually explains this particular feature in the rich text editor.
