Hi,
I think it is great that the ExpressionEngine development is seeing a revival of sorts. The recent additions to the documentation and videos are really nice also. I am sure many websites from very old versions of Expression Engine are in process of upgrade and would benefit a lot from all that is new in EE6.
And yet, I also feel that many new features are essential to keep it up to date with the latest trends and requirements. Here is a list in order of priority:
I hope these can be considered in future.
Thanks!
Manish, Thanks for posting this and really glad to hear that you are seeing a resurgence in the EE Community. We’re definitely looking to take it not only to where it once was, but beyond that in the CMS space.
Regarding your items above, can you please put those in Github as feature requests ( https://github.com/ExpressionEngine/ExpressionEngine/issues/new?assignees=&labels;=&template=3-feature-request.md . That’s where we manage all feature requests and where the community goes to comment on them, etc.
thanks!
Agree with all suggestions as native features, but personally, I would replace number 4 with native 2FA authentication for time tokens.
Not Google 2FA (as it would require a Google API) but just general time tokens that can be used with any authenticator and can be integrated with templates to increase members security.
Seems like most CMS systems offer native 2FA features today.
