Solspace's FreeForm - Default template lock

Hi there,
First, FreeForm is a great module! But when i want to edit my templates, the default one is “locked”. Only if i change
C=modules&M=freeform&P=edit_template_form&template_id=2to
C=modules&M=freeform&P=edit_template_form&template_id=1It appears not to be locked at all.

Very easy; i just altered the URL that appears in the addressbar of the browser. You only set the template_id variable to ‘1’.
Not clever. Do not edit default locked template. After upgrade with newer Freeform version will be this template reset and all template data lost. It’s my personal experience. After that I never touched on default template 😉
I’m not sure, why Freeform upgrade script overwrite default template and why is this template locked.
