Has anyone else noticed that this extensions stips out HTML formatting from weblog comments? If I disable the extensions, comment formatting works perfectly but with the extension enabled comments are simple text, with no P tags or anything! I can’t choose between having my users post YouTube videos or having comment formatting. I really need both. Any fix for this? Please?? Anyone…?

Just installed this extension last evening. I’m also using it in conjunction with weblog comments. My testing confirms this issue still exists. However, the formatting is not stripped, it is not rendered. So when looking at a comment with formatting while the extension is enabled you get this:

a bunch of text [strong]here[/strong] and .

when disabled, the formatting renders properly.

Wondering if anyone has a fix for this.

Does anyone know if this videoplug extension will work in the EE Wiki Module? I’m trying to embed vidoes (youtube, vimeo) and slideshows (from slideshare.net) into my wiki entries.

I also didn’t have any luck using this extension in my regular weblog setup. But I think that ee doesn’t like the [] brackets around the code? Usually, all my tags have {} around them.

Is this extension for forum/comments use only?

Thanks!
