I can’t get this to work on EE 1.6.8 and Freeform. I’ve got Captcha turned on in the e-mail preferences. Not sure what the problem might be.

——-Belay that. I was testing while logged in. It seems to work fine.————

I would also like to know if the this works with the excellent Freeform module?

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed reply. Accessible Captcha 1.x does indeed work with Freeform as well as member registration. For info, I’m slowly moving my code over to Bitbucket. The latest files for 1.x and 2.x can now be found at http://bitbucket.org/drylouvre/.

Cheers

Greg

Hi. Really love this extension. Got it working and have only one question: 1 + 1 = ?

If I enter 1 for the answer it gives me the normal error message. Good.

However, if I enter another wrong number it just posts the comment.

Now it seems to be working. But if I leave it with no answer it takes me to the error message and I can’t get back to the comment form because the “return to previous page” link doesn’t work.

This is the basic code for the template:

{if captcha}

{captcha} <input type="text" name="captcha" id="captcha" />

{/if}

Installing is the same as installing an extension. Then you administer it from the Extensions Manager.

I think you have to have captchas enabled, but it’s been a long time since I installed it…

I have enabled “Do you want to enable Accessible Captcha for this site?”, but I don’t see it to be generated by EE even after removing if statement.

Are you seeing it in the extension manager?

Hi CMG Dev,

Don’t forget that just like the default captcha this will not show anything if you are logged in as an admin. Can you get the default captcha to work at all?

Cheers
