photogallery: multiple categories question

Hi folks.

Can images uploaded to the photo gallery have multiple categories like blog entries? If not, could you please kick this over as a FR?

Hello Bill, I probably have misunderstood your requirements but if you mean can you have the same image in different categories then the answers yes. Have a look at kuckoo.com if you go to the gallery I have inserted the same picture in category’s Britain and Water & Light to try it out. If that’s not what you want then please ignore this rambling and wait for an authorative answer. Looks like you had a nice vacation?

Edit - Ignore the above rubbish, apart from the vacation bit, what actually happened was I selected the full size image instead of the medium image and fooled myself. It appears you cannot have an image in different category’s with the same file name.

Come on someone, help me out here please.

And in that case I second Bills request for a FR, it would be nice when I am good enough to have a portfolio category with picks from other folders in it, mind you that could take a while.
