I’m not sure if this is the appropriate place to place this questions since I don’t think it’s an EE product, but I posted my question on the solspace forum and didn’t get a response. I have a client who is getting tons of porn url spams in his form email/database. If there’s a better way to eliminate this I’m open to suggestions

Here’s what’s happening: If I enter nothing in the blacklist area, my form works correctly, but when I add any keyword the form is always rejected. I’m trying to recect anything that looks like a link, so I’ve tried keywords like html, and www I’m also running an older version of EE 1.5.2, could that be the problem?

I looked at the code a little and it appears that the blacklisted keywords should be entered one per line and the code then parses the keywords by \n and \r into an array. If I’m wrong about the syntax of the keywords, please let me know. Maybe I’m just using the product incorrectly.

I have moved this since it is a third-party module. if it’s been a few days without a response you might bump your post over at the solspace forums.

Okay, should it go in the extensions forum since it’s not a module?

I think that’s what they are calling it. What’s the difference between an extension and a module?

The Spam protection is an extension.

EEDocs:// Extensions

You posted on the Solspace forum less than a day ago. It may take a bit longer for a response.

Is there anyone out there who uses this spam filter? I’d really like to get it working.
