Download Lock Permissions

I see a variable inside Download Lock that allows me to set groups - or even to “all”. I have a page that has SOME downloads you have to log in to get, and others that I want to allow anyone to get (but want to track the downloads) regardless of logged in status.

I’m confused…can I use allowed groups on a file by file basis as a parameter? Or is it just one global setting in the module and that’s it for everything? Setting it as “all ” in there would make having to log in to get the other files…not work. Is that correct?
