Yeah I’m getting the blank screen when I try to install Image Sizer. I’m on Build 20100430 and I’m NOT on Engine Hosting for this site (so Andrew it seems like it’s not the host). I also tried installing the ED ImageResizer, and had the same problem.

I’m getting nothing but blanks when I try using this plugin for EE 1.6.9. I’ve tried setting base_path, base_cache, and server_domain but no img tags are being displayed. When I turn on template debug the paths are being displayed like this

Could the missing /’s have something to do with it? Anyone else experience something like this?

ditto for me. i’ve tried everything (i think) but no luck so far. i see the weird chars in debugging too - i’m 1.6.9 on engine hosting. 😕

well ED imagesizer works for me, but i’d still like to figure out what’s up with the beloved image sizer! 😊

Hi, sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I just finished a migration of EE 1.7.3 from one webhost to another, and I had a hell of a time getting everything to work on the new host.

Eventually I realised that I’d forgotten to set the correct chmod 777 file permissions on my new webhost, specifically the /images/sized/ folder. After that, the correct {exp:imgsizer} output appeared. /slaps forehead

I hope this helps someone else who’s spent a few hours troubleshooting problems after migrating to a new host 😊

And yes, I’ll need to move to a newer version of EE eventually…
