FreeForm, Forms or Any form module, please help!

Hello:
I just installed the FreeForm module (2.5.7) and it seems like everything is running. It installed to the DB. I Installed the module and set the fields.
When I submit the form, nothing happens, not even the redirect page nor email is sent.
I would appreciate your prompt help. I am not sure if there are any other modules or PHP preferences I have to set. Do I need to make sure I am running PHP Mail, SMTP?
When I send messages through my Email module in the control panel of EE, the massages are sent, so I am assuming that everything should be o.k.

Yes, I’ve posted this question in Solspace. I also found similar questions, but they were all unanswered. I hope somebody here may help me faster than at Solspace.com.
Do you know of any other Form module or alike that would be easy to setup and probably have an attachment to it?

This module is the only one I’m aware of, and is extremely flexible and many, many people have success with it. You might consider copying/pasting a docs example and seeing if that works, then customize from there. That is how I would begin, at least. =)
