Hello,

I guess this is a stupid question but I still don’t get it - sorry.

anyway, what is the difference of this extension to the regular “upload file” link that is on the publish page per default? Is there a special usage for the file extension?

thank you in advance for your clarification

I believe Mark’s extension uploads images in relation to a specific field and thus automates much of the placement aspects of uploading a file. I suspect he developed it due to needing a way for clients to be able to add an image to a field in a way that did not require as many steps and as much thought on the part of the client.
