Redirect problem using Solspace Ratings module

Hi, I’ve got a strange re-direct problem using the Solspace Ratings module that’s appeared since I upgraded from 1.6.0 to 1.6.1 - forward-slash characters in the redirect URL (no matter if it’s hardcoded, or generated by an EE tag) get mangled, with the forward-slash characters being replaced. So redirecting to:

http://www.sitename.com/articles/page/take_better_night_photos/

ends up redirecting to

http://www.sitename.com/articles/page/take_better_night_photos///www.sitename.com/articles/page/

which causes mayhem!

Any help, as usual, gratefully received…!

I’m not sure I can help, however I know Solspace has their own Forum which might better assist you.

Simon,

EE 1.6.1 made a small change to one of their classes that has had big repercussions on Solspace software. Such is life.

Post this on the solspace.com/forums and we’ll get a fix ready for you ASAP.

Simon,

We are talking to Mitchell at Solspace on this. As its probably related to something his module is relying on that is inside of EE. You will want to contact him directly about it so he can let you know what ends up happening to deal with it.

Jamie
