CSVGrab: Entry dates pushed one day back

I am importing a CSV file via CSV Grab and in that document all of the entry dates are correct. But after this data gets imported, every entry is pushed back a complete day. For example, an entry from January 24 is January 23, and so on…

I found this thread but the fix there didn’t work for me (I tried adding +360 minutes to the server offset too).

What PHP script could I run to update all entries and push them ahead exactly one day?

thanks

Geof, is this happening with entries made in the control panel? Or only from the import?

Lisa,

It’s only happening after I import. The dates are fine in the CSV file.

I didn’t know where to put this question (under How To or Technical Support) because I don’t know what party is causing the problem 😊

Geof - ignore the entries you’re importing totally. If you go to the Publish screen and write a new post - is the date correct?

Lisa,

Sorry about the confusion.

Yes, when I publish a new entry the correct date sticks.

That would seem to make it a problem with the plugin, Geoff, since EE is behaving properly when using its own system. I’m going to move this down to the plugins forum for you, and I’d suggest contacting the author directly, as he may not browse these forums regularly.

Yes, when I publish a new entry the correct date sticks.

Then the issue is with CSVGrab.

Since that is a third party script, you’ll need to get support from Andrew on the problem. Your best bet is to contact his directly.
