Hi Mark,

Thanks for pointing out your plugin to me in the foxee post. FoxCart may look at building off this to create what I need.

Hi Ryan,

Excellent news! Don’t forget to send the cheque for £1,000,000 to me when it’s done for using my code though 😉

Best wishes,

Mark

{exp:maximum_posts_reached entries="2"}
It would be nice to add another parameter to set the range. For example,
{exp:maximum_posts_reached entries="1" range="d:365"}
Can only post 1 time a year

+1 for this. I’m working on a site where we want sponsors to be able to post entries via a SAEF but limit them to 1 entry per week. If this plug-in accepted a range parameter it would fit the bill perfectly. 😊

I have a client that wants to only allow members to post one entry. I assume he may allow them at some point to post another entry. Is there a way to “clear” the member so that they can start from zero, or does it just make sense to have a single member group with a limit and another without that limit?

Mark - did you ever update the plug-in to be able to restrict the number per weblog and per member group?

…The plugin as said above is exceptionally simple. I may (if I ever get the time) update this so you can set different amounts of entries per user or per member group but at the moment it is one amount for everybody as that is all I needed on the site I am creating.
