Word Safe forgets to close anchors

As the title says, the Word Safe plugin forgets to close anchor tags in certain situations, namely when using the shorten option. It properly keeps the full URL in the opening <a> tag, and shortens the URL’s text, usually the URL again, but then the link extends to the following paragraphs, until it hits another <a> tag. The breakup option works fine.

Also, could you put the ellipsis back when shortening words? It seems to have been removed between 1.0.1 and 1.2.2.
