Limit Relationship Dropdown to Certain Statuses [duplicate of feature request]

Hello,

I put in a feature request for this, but on second thought think it may be something there’s already an extension to do. Here’s the post:

I’d like to be able to restrict relationship drop-downs to certain statuses when setting up the custom field. So, when I decide which weblog to pull from and how to order them, I’d like to also select what statuses I’d like to limit the eventual entry choices to.

Is this already available? Would anybody else find an extension for this useful?
