Lastly, I noticed that the from name on twitter is Expression Engine with a link to the extension. Is there a way to change this or is that the “plug” for the freebe? Thanks!

Did you find any more about this one mate? I want to use this but I’d like it to be ‘from’ my website with a link. If there’s a commercial option to remove it as per Better Meta I’d happily pay.

Nope. Actually, still waiting on my two other questions. I’d do the same and pay a small bit to get that off.

You need to escape quotes on form submission, as it produces errors.

At least my single quote in:

here's

Produced a fail.

Maybe it was a one off, but removing it worked 😊

Great extension btw.

Getting some Session Cookie and Headers Already Sent error messages with this extension in EECore 1.6.6. Is this not made to work on the free version of EE?

I found that if I just comment out the line it’s having errors with it work’s fine. Not sure if that is a viable solution but it at least works now.

anyone knows why I am getting this message?

“Not Authorized: either you need to provide authentication credentials, or the credentials provided aren’t valid.”

The username and password is correct. TIA.

Hey Leevi - Great extension! One request, can you make the variable {entry_id} available?

Ditto. Without the entry_id variable, I can’t really use this extension much.

PHP Notice: Undefined index: REQUEST_URI in C:\domains\domain.com\wwwroot\genesis\extensions\ext.lg_twitter_ext.php on line 858

any ideas?

Hey guys,

There are some LG Twitter updates available on GitHub: http://github.com/newism/lg.twitter.ee_addon/ including multiple url shorteners and a couple of bug fixes.

One request, can you make the variable {entry_id} available?

The entry_id should be available. I think it’s just not included in the docs.

Lastly, I noticed that the from name on twitter is Expression Engine with a link to the extension. Is there a way to change this or is that the “plug” for the freebie? Thanks!

There is no way to change this link nor should the link be changed. The link helps build awareness of the extension and continues to make it a worth while development.

Cool. Did you manage to check this out?

Sorry for the poor explanation of the bug, but I’m sure it can be duplicated.

Edit: {entry_id} doesn’t work.

Leevi,

I am having a bit of trouble with your Twitter extension.

The quick tweet bar works great, but tweeting from posts does not. any idea?
