TinyMCE toolbar not appearing

I configured LG TinyMCE and it was working great … but sometime in the past days, the actual toolbar stopped showing up in Firefox and Safari.

Only recent addition was Tome, and I’ll do another back up and remove the package.

I didn’t find any other threads on this … Any ideas?

I removed Tome module and plug-ins, reinstalled them, removed LG and TinyMCE, and reinstalled them.

The TinyMCE toolbar is not appearing. I am, however, seeing the Javascript and script reference.

These are the extensions I have loaded.

LG TinyMCE (v.1.2.1) Category Checkboxes (v.1.1.2) Geo Coordinates (v.1.0.5) Tome (v.1.0.0) Hidden Weblogs (v.1.0.3)

Looking in Firefox, I see a whole slew of TinyMCE errors:

Error: tinyMCE is not defined Error: tinyMCE_GZ is not defined Error: syntax error

I discovered the problem, and perhaps this will be helpful to others in future.

I changed my “remove-index.php” method from include to exclude and didn’t add the /scripts/ directory.

Case closed.

I’m now having this problem.

I keep getting the javascript error that states “tinyMCE is not defined”.

I checked the JS file and it’s where it is supposed to be. I even checked it in the URL and I can see it.

I’ve tried everything - deleting the files, putting up new files, etc etc.

Nothing works.

Any insight?

thanks

Any luck? I really need this feature to work.

The reason is to allow others edit the pages of the site without using HTML.

Thanks

Make sure the path in the plugin settings has a www. in the URL.

I dunno if this has anything to do with all the headaches Tiny+Tiny plugins have given me in the last few weeks but it’s worth a shot.

(Just trying to spread the joy a bit! Hope it helps. Finding this fix today made my whole week.)

I am having the same problem as well, but only in Firefox 3. Safari seems to work fine.

Has anyone else had problems with FF3 and TinyMCE?
