Put Forum RSS from another site in my forum

I’m very new to RSS so hopefully this isn’t a stupid question.

I have a site that is similar in topic to another site. We have agreed to work together at least to some degree. Can i put forum posts from his site in my site via a RSS feed? He uses phpBB and i obviously use EE Forum module?

And this may be out of the scope of this forum but would phpBB be able to read my forum RSS feed and display my posts on his forum?
