agrublev, heaversm, there are a number of people with various issues in this thread. Can you please identify exactly what you are getting by having the “same problem”? What errors do you see in the template parsing log for the plugin, or PHP errors, etc. Please cut and paste directly.
For some reason when I use this plugin I cannot get my public timeline unless I use my username/password combo. The following seems to spit out either random tweets, or the entire twitter userbase feed thus making it look random since people use twitter like crazy
{exp:twitter_timeline type="public" user="erikreagan" limit="1"}
{text}
{/exp:twitter_timeline}
I’m not really sure what to try to fix this. I don’t want to use the user/pass combo because I was hoping to use this in a dynamic sense across a userbase for a site.
“Public” is the public Twitter feed, not your messages. As indicated, both “user” and “friend” type require a username password combo.

Ahh, I thought that simply mean my public timeline. Thanks for the clarification 😊
I’m also getting the following error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /---/---/public_html/system/plugins/pi.twitter_timeline.php on line 302
It looks like the client changed their Twitter password… I’m already on that. In the meantime is there a way to at least hide the server path?
