By any chance is there a genealogy Module available for EE? We have a client who would like to have a genealogy site dedicated for his family that he can manage and take care of.

Although this has nothing to do with ee per se, I highly recommend you look at the next generation in genealogy site building: http://lythgoes.net/genealogy/software.php.
I have used it for years on a genealogy site and imho there is nothing better. I currently have it integrated with a SimpleMachines Forum platform but will be [at some later date] integrate it to work with ee.
