Gallery Link No Longer Working

A link to a cilent’s Image Gallery suddenly stopped working (no templates were changed, and the only activity was running the optimization on the database tables via the Admin) - when the link is clicked, it downloads a file instead of going to the gallery.

This happens on both Mac and PC, and tested in both Firefox and Safari (Mac and PC) and Internet Explorer (PC).
Any ideas as to what would cause this or why?
Your file is being served as application/x-httpd-one. Not a known MIME header, so the browser does not know hwo to to handle it, and attempts to download it. It’s a server configuration issue.
